I really enjoyed the latest from Regine Abel and the Veredian Chronicles. Valena is a Veredian who has the horrible job of stimulating the oxytocin from the females who are used and abused in the care of her Master. When she is hidden on a property she doesn’t know and belonging to a Xelixian named Zhul and the one some believe is has something to do with the Blood Houses. Zhul knows others believe him to be a monster, but he finds the captivating woman named Valena doesn’t see that. Their story is sweet, with some heat, add in some secrets and misunderstandings along with trying to take the bad guys down and I loved it.

I loved this latest book from Nicole Snow! Kendra and Knox are amazing, even when you want to hate Knox for being kind of a jerk. Kendra has loved Knox since she figured out what that meant, but had that shattered one night at a party. Knox has demons that have made him think do himself as an island and the only one allowed close enough is his daughter. Yet when he needs help the first person he thinks of is Kendra. Together these two will be able to heal the past, slay the demons of the present and find a future neither thought was possible, and I loved every minute of it!
This is another HOT dark read from Linnea May! What Ruby thinks is a set date with a man for the next 39 days turns out to be anything but when she finds herself in the basement cage of her "client." Loran is on the hunt for a woman who will make the perfect toy for him to play with and what he's looking for can't know he's coming. When he kidnaps Ruby he thinks he's found the perfect woman, until they realize what is really going on. What should not a relationship make ends up being what both of them have been craving and so much more. I loved this new book from Linnea May and the violent series!
I loved this new release from Michelle Horst, I honestly couldn't put it down once I started! Della and Carter couldn't be more different and yet they are so perfect for each other, even if it takes them a while to realize that and get it right. When Della first meets Carter she is dealing with the members of "Screw Crew," who don't exactly make the best first impression, and Carter steps in to tell the guys to back off. Fast forward to Carter bringing her roommate home and Della jumping to conclusions and that wrong foot gets even more twisted. Yet when Della needs the "Screw Crew" they step up and protect her in a big way and in my eyes redeemed themselves, even if Carter takes a little more time to come around. One brief moment changes everything for them, even if the full scope isn't clear yet, but it takes 4 years to bring them back in each other's paths again. I loved Carter, Della and all the members of the "Screw Crew" and can't wait to see if there is more is store for these guys.
Another great new book from Chance Carter! Emma is set on a path to reinvent herself after her boyfriend breaks up with her and kicks her out. When she gets a new job as an assistant to the CEO Max Westfield she finds herself face to face with the man she ran into after her interview. Max is a man who is used to getting what he wants and spends his free time dodging his mother's constant attempts at setting him up and finding him a wife. His new assistant is a sucker punch to that laser focus he is known for. I loved Emma and Max. Max may be used to getting what he wants yet he is willing to let Emma take the lead every once in a while, even if it means having to wait. I loved that Emma wanted to stand on her own two feet and didn't bow down when she could have taken the easy route when she gets together with Max.
I absolutely loved the latest from Lauren Landish! Caleb and Cassie are so perfect for each other and yet they never cross the line from friendship until they are working on fixing her old family home together. What starts as just friends turns to friends with benefits, but ends up fixing them both. Caleb and Cassie have this easy joking, flirting, competitive friendship that you can't help but love and yet when the sparks fly they really ignite. While they make pretty amazing friends they make even more amazing partners and lovers, if they can both get over their baggage from the past.
I liked the latest book from Soraya May, set in a small town in New Zealand. Cat and Ryan meet when he comes to her bar to investigate some bones found under her bar. When the sparks fly Cat will try to ignore them and Ryan will try to downplay the meaning and with the added stress of what will happen to the bar if the bones are deemed an important find and you have the recipe for a wild ride of a story. There were times I was frustrated with them both because they forget that communication is an important aspect of any kind of relationship, but they figure it out in the end.
I can't get enough of Leslie North's Thorn Tattoo Studio series! In the 3rd book the last brother finds his other half when he decides to purchase a new tattoo shop under the Thorn brand. Antonio DeRose is up to the challenge the new shop brings, what he didn't count on was Evie. Evie loves working in the newly named Bloom Tattoo shop, she loves her coworkers and can even handle the new boss. What she doesn't want is the role of head artist, at least at first, no matter how many time Antonio asks her. These two are so strong in their own rights and yet together they are a force to be reckoned with, if they can get over their own issues. When they give in to the mutual attraction they find a happiness they didn't expect, but both have to learn how to be in a relationship. I loved Antonio and Evie's story.
I read the first and just had to read the next book! Again, WOW! May Sage's writing is wonderful. This series has an on-going story line, characters you really want to hear more about, and new characters being introduced that you know will come around again. This is the second book I have read by this author and I thank goodness that they're available on Kindle Unlimited.
Pretty Kitten is the second book of the series and it centers on Clari and Daunte. Daunte is kind of a pain in the butt. Beta of the pride, he's just as dominant as his Alpha and cocky as heck. Clari thinks he's pretty drool-worthy, especially when he walks around shirtless and wet. But for some reason, Daunte looks at Clari like she's a bug on his windshield. She doesn't know what his problem is, but she meets him glare for glare. Daunte may glare Clari's way every time he sees her, but it's only because she's human; she's fragile and he's not looking to break her. If not for that, he would totally bed her at least once. But thanks to Daunte's new nephew, she might not stay fragile for long. And as for just once... could she be more to him? Again, danger rears its head in the second book of the Age of Night series, and the pride must pull together, add new members, and ask for help from those who shouldn't be real. Loving this series! Can't wait for the next book! Check out Pretty Kitten on Amazon! https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B073YF5LWY/ref=series_rw_dp_sw Wow! How have I not found this author before. I love shifter books and I love series that have a progressive story line! So far, this series has an abundance of both! This story, Kitty Cat, is the start of the series.
Raygan is the Alpha of a small, misfit bunch of shifters and supernaturals. Raygan and his group didn't ask to be on anyone's radar, but, for some unknown reason, a pack of wolves is determined to hunt his family down and eliminate them, even the children. His last hope to avoid the fatal end his seer has foreseen is in the hands of an unknown loner. She is not what he expected, not at all, and he really didn't expect to feel the pull of a fated mate. Aisling is alone for a reason and that reason is nobody's business but her own. She is an Alpha in her own right, but a definite loner, or so she thinks. She doesn't need anything this lot of shifters might bring to her door, not the danger and especially not the hot as heck Alpha male that leads the pride. May Sage's story is spicy, intriguing, awesome, enthralling, and so worth the read! I read it in one sitting and quickly jumped to the next book. I totally recommend this series!
