I enjoyed the latest from Autumn Avery. When Tammy Rose and Derek cross paths for the first time both of their lives will be forever changed, but neither know the extent of it just yet. Tammy works as a waitress at a diner and is in the process of being accosted by a drunk guy when the hottest guy steps in to save her, that guy being none other than Derek O'Toole, the star lineman from the Ohio Bulls. Derek is used to the instant gratification that comes from being who he is, but Tammy makes him work for it. One night of incredible is all they have when life forces them in different directions and it takes two years and a bunch of misunderstandings for them to find their way back together and getting the happy ending they both want to find with the other. Derek starts off as foot in mouth and cocky, but quickly wants to change in order to be what Tammy deserves and Tammy is the opposite of gold digger that Derek deserves as well.

Wow, I loved this book from Zeia Jameson! Sawyer and Fin are both running from mistakes in their pasts and never expected to find someone who accepts who they are said mistakes and all. Finley Kennedy is paying her penance in her hometown, trying to keep her younger sister from going down the path any further than she went, but in doing so she is living a half life and trying to deny her daredevil spirit. All that changes when a newcomer shakes her beliefs. Sawyer the new guy in town, hiding out from his mistake and waiting to pay for what he did, what he needs to do is keep his head down, what he didn't count on was Fin. These two feel so guilty for what happened neither think they deserve what they find with each other. With Sawyer Fin finds a balance between her quiet, responsible life and the adrenaline she craves. For Sawyer it's the same plus someone who will always be in his corner. I loved Fin and Sawyer's journey.
Holy HOT, Cassandra Dee does it again with her latest! When Katie stars her day at the coffee shop how it ends is beyond her wildest dreams. When a customer becomes belligerent another steps in to stop it, but this customer has his reasons. When she is hurt in the process he saves the day, then she passes out. Coming to the Katie is in for a shock when her rescuer tells her she is perfect for what he needs and he's keeping her. Mason needs to fool the board into thinking he is engaged and expecting an heir. He and his best friend/business partner, Derek, have found the perfect girl in Katie and decide they will take her to get what they want. What neither of them expected was to admit to feelings for each other and the fake to turn so very real. I loved Derek, Mason and Katie.
Angela Snyder really peaked my curiosity with the prequel to Keeping Her. I can't wait to read more about Lucien when Keeping Her comes out. Lucien was survived from trauma by his uncle and now has access to a lifestyle that allows him to indulge in his needs. His needs are dark and had me intrigued and again can't wait for his full book.
Oh man I loved this book from C.M. Seabrook! When Delaney heads to Ireland she is there to fulfill her late sister's bucket list, dealing with survivors guilt and trying to live through her late sister instead of living for Delaney. What starts as a way to check some items off the bucket list through caution to the wind and accepts help from the man who caused her to run off the road. Cillian is back in town, which is the last thing he wants to do, and is trying to go unnoticed, but all that is thrown out the window when he stops to help the car who drove off the road after admittedly he was driving a little fast. What he didn't expect was the woman in the car. What follows for Delaney and Cillian is unexpected for them both, but something they both deserve. Cillian has some issues with trust, maybe a little anger-OK a lot of anger-and knows their is an end date in what he finds with Delaney. I loved Delaney and Cillian, although there were many moments I wanted to yell at Cillian to chill out and listen to the whole story before reacting, but I think they had to go through that all in order to get their ending.
I loved the latest from Roxeanne Rolling! When Olivia starts her new job in the mail room at David's company the only thing she was focused on was paying her bills, getting out from under the debt her schooling and her father put her in. Olivia was on the fast track to law school until she suffered an episode of chronic fatigue and could barely get out of bed, now she does what she can to keep the stress to a minimum. TO say David is intrigued by the new mail room girl is an understatement and when he his threatened by his ex-wife he will turn to Olivia for help. When Olivia is propositioned to help David out with a fake marriage in exchange for money that would get her out of debt she can't turn it down, but she never thought he would feel the way she did about him. David comes off as closed off and all business, not even knowing how to really connect with his daughter, but Olivia will show him that there is more to life than business deals and money. I loved Olivia and David and what they go through to get a happy ending, even if neither were planning on it in the first place.
I loved the latest from Juliet Woods! When Lily first meets Ethan he saves her from her boss chewing her out for his own mistake at the floral shop she works at. Ethan is there to pick up flowers for his daughter and ends up saving the shy Lily from her jerk of a boss. That starts his infatuation with Lily and the need to know more about her and get her to agree to a date with him. When shy Lily starts her new job she winds up with her boss being none other than Ethan. When Lily shows up in his office nothing could be more perfect and Ethan knows she will be his. When Ethan gets a threat from his his sister-in-law, the family that turned their backs on Maise and them when Sara passed, he will turn to Lily for help. While Ethan and Lily couldn't be more different what they each bring to the relationship will be the perfect balance for what could be the best thing to happen to either of them. Lily is shy, timid and suffers from anxiety issues, but she will find her inner strength with Ethan by her side. While their relationship starts off as a fake it ends up being so much more. There will be bumps along the road, misunderstandings and some fear to give into those feelings, but it will be worth it in the end.
This is another great read from Stephanie Brother! When Ryan walks into a strip club the last thing he thought he would end up doing is offer a woman money to be his companion for a month, but that's just what happens when he sees the stripper Candy, aka Jessie. Jessie is doing what she must to make ends meet and trying to get over the loss of her husband. When she meets Ryan she can see he is haunted just like her, but when offered to spend time with him for a month she didn't expect to fall for the broken man. Ryan has it all money, looks and power, but he still grieves the loss of his wife. Two broken souls come together to enjoy each others' company and have fun for the next month, but when Jessie learns the full truth of who Ryan is she will run back to the life she knows, leaving her heart with him. I loved Ryan and Jessie, both of them are damaged and yet have the ability to heal the other if only they have the courage to admit it before it's too late. With an added secret medical condition threatening what they could have and this story pulled at my heartstrings from beginning to end.
I always look forward to a new B.B. Hamel book! When Griffin decides to hire a nanny to help with his young daughter he never counted on the instant attraction between him and the nanny. When Erin is told by her controlling (in my opinion a jerk) father what she must do to help the family she didn't count on Griffin, their attraction or falling for little Lacey. Erin may resist the attraction at first, but once she gives in she will find the belonging she has searched for her while life, but will it survive the truth coming out? Erin and Griffin will have ton get passed the lies that started everything and work together to make it out on the other side with Griffin's company in tact and more importantly together in the relationship they have forged.
Jo Raven is back again with her angsty heros and the women strong enough to help them. Matthew Hansen has had his life shaken with the lose of his wife and then past there years he has drowned, but a new town is supposed to be a new start for him and his two kids. Yet even with the new environment he still struggles and when trying to finds a nanny to help with his young kids he meets Octavia who is young, sweet and yet so strong. Octavia has been bullied her whole life and knows about struggle, what she sees in Matt and his kids keeps her coming back even when Matt does his best to scare her away. With a guest appearance from my favorite of the brother, Zane, it made this book absolutely perfect. I loved Matt and Octavia and his kids, Cole and Mary. The road for Matt and Octavia isn't easy, with his loss, and when a new danger threatens their budding relationship they will do whatever out takes to make it.
