A great new read from Vivian Lux! This is the second book featuring the band Wreckage, on their way back out from the rubble of their former band and with a new manager to boot. August is out to prove herself with her job as the manager of Wreckage and doesn't have time for the distraction of a guy, especially a musician since her last relationship imploded. Julian is the drummer of Wreckage and August is a thorn in his side, or is she? I loved the dynamic between August and Jules, they bicker, pull pranks on each other and yet when August needs him the most Jules will do whatever he can to be there for her, proving that not all musicians are like her jerk of an ex.

Oh,man Angela Snyder did an amazing job with the conclusion to Lucien and Adeline's story! Adeline finds herself falling for the man who she should hate, the man who kept her locked up and yet he is the one person in the end who will care about her safety the most. Lucien finds himself changing in so many ways since Adeline has come on the scene and even though can be scary it's also more than he ever hoped for. When Adeline is in need or in danger it will be Lucien who will never stop to keep her safe, even when it means going somewhere that he absolutely abhors. I loved Lucien and Adeline and the ending of their story was, I will say again, absolutely amazing.
.I loved the latest from Leslie North. When Marian gets the opportunity to help out with a business deal she is both excited, to see her best friend, and annoyed because of the man she is supposed to be assisting. When the deal is threatened Marian and her Minarack contact, Omar Almasi, will work closely to come through. When Omar lost his wife he thought brief hook-ups was all he needed, until he met Marian. I loved Marian and Omar!
Jo Raven absolutely did it again with her latest and these two characters. Jo Raven has this amazing ability to bring you these broken characters who when they meet their other half doesn't mean they are magically fixed, but they are working towards being better than they were. There will be speed bumps along the way and setbacks for them both. When Raine shows up to his brother Ocean, who is one of my favorites in another Jo Raven book, he finds his brother helping another guy like a brother. To say he doesn't react well is an understatement and sets his wrath on Jason. Jason is a street kid who will do whatever it takes to keep his crew safe, even if it kills him a little more each day. These two guys are so opposite and yet neither can stay away from the other for long. I absolutely adored both Jason and Raine, even when there were times I wanted to yell at Raine for how he reacts to some situations. I will never be able to say enough how much I am glad to have stumbled upon Jo Raven's books and how she gets me a little more with each new book she releases.
I can not get enough of KL Donn's short love letters stories, each one so unique, sweet, funny and hot and Dear Maverick follows that perfectly. When True's best friend asks her to write to her cousin Maverick overseas she does it, even though she doesn't want to and throws it away. When that letter winds up in Maverick's hands what follows is what both of them had been looking for, even if they didn't thinks so. True speaks her mind, can understand and commiserate with Maverick about his cousin being a pain and truly falls for Maverick. I adored Maverick and True's story!
A fantastic new release from Lexi Whitlow! When Macon and Eliza were just 18 their lives got very serious with an unplanned pregnancy, but neither family were happy about it and pulled the two apart. Then when the tragic happens both have drifted apart, even if that's the last thing they wanted. Now 10 years later, along with a whole lot of baggage on both their parts, they are given a second chance at what was true love. Eliza finds herself 10 years older, beaten down, a body betraying her and in desperate need of friends when she comes back into Macon's life. Macon has amassed a fortune and spends his time on his boat with women abound, until he finds out Eliza is back in town and fighting for her freedom from a psycho ex who wont give up. I loved Macon and Eliza! Macon soon finds out there is nothing he wont do for a second chance with Eliza and Eliza soon realizes all the lies her ex told her were just that and she is stronger than even she thinks she is.
An arranged marriage that neither party know about ahead of time is in store for the latest from Leslie North. When Annabelle arrives in Parsabad thinking she is closing the deal on the merger for her father not wind up with an arranged husband as part of the deal. Imaad Almasi will do whatever his father asks of him, but this whole arranged marriage clause in their company's merger may be pushing it too far. Yet as Annabelle and Imaad get to know one another the one thing they didn't expect to happen happens, they find themselves falling for each other. What starts as an arrangement ends up being the thing that they want the most.
Misti Murphy knocks it out of the park again with her latest book! I absolutely loved Catching Mr. Right! Mandy is a woman who thinks she knows what she wants and what she thinks she wants is her best friend's brother, Sam Sweets. Too bad he has a hang up on the age difference, enter Casper to help her. Casper shows up to be the chef for the summer camp Mandy is volunteering at, and boy is he man candy, it's just too bad he can be so grouchy. When Casper and Mandy decide to work together to win over Sam neither expected to find that what they really wanted was each other instead and maybe what Mandy thought was Mr. Right was not right for her at all. I adored Mandy, she has zero filter, speaks her mind and for not having any experience she has a hilarious skill. Casper is awesome with his broodiness, tattoos, his horse and his tragic past. Thank you Misti Murphy for these two characters!
I really loved the latest from Gabi Moore. An older woman with two kids, an ex-husband and a full plate meets a younger former SEAL who has never wanted to be tied down. When David signs up for the Big Brother program he never expected to get attached to the two little boys or fall for their mother, but that's just what happens when he meets Ally and her boys Ben and Alex. When Ally's boys get signed up for the Big Brother program she thinks she's gonna get a little help in the form of someone her sons can look up to, not that she would fall for the man or that he would help her out with her crazy ex-husband. I loved Ally and David.
I absolutely loved the latest from Daphne Loveling and her Lords of Carnage MC series! I have read this whole series so far and I think Gunner is my new favorite! When out with some of his brothers at a bar that is a neutral territory to MCs he finds himself stepping in to save the woman who catches his eye. Alix finds herself out of her element when she steps into Smiling Skull, a bar where she confronts the man who was last known to be with her sister. Alix has dropped everything to search for her missing sister and when Gunner steps in to help her she will find her life changing in ways she never would have expected when she left Virginia. Gunner may not have wanted to be tied down to one woman before yet Alix will change all of that for him the more time he spends with her. I loved these two characters and what they go through together. I can't wait for more from this group of MC guys from Daphne Loveling.
