I enjoyed the latest from Catherine Vale and the Shifting Magic series. Kaye and her dragon are headed to his home after the lose of his father. Darius returns home to his dragon clan to pick up the reigns after his alpha father has passed. What should be a time of mourning for for Darius and Kaye offering support in any way that he needs ends up being another battle with Kaye being at the heart of it all. Yet in the midst of it all Kaye realizes that Darius is the only one for her and she will do whatever it takes to be the mate he needs and deserves.
I was hooked from the first page of Wreck Me from Lane Hart! I absolutely loved Riley and Brody. When Brody learns his daughter is coming to his beach house for a vacation with some friends after their college graduation he thinks it will be a chance to finally reconnect with her in a positive way. What he didn't count on was the instant attraction he feels to one of her friends. Riley is glad for the beach house break and a chance to get away from the rumors surrounding her. What she didn't count on was the instant fire she felt for her frienemy's dad. When these two give in the pages smoke from the heat, but the attraction isn't everything, they both have scars from the past to deal with not to mention the person they have in common. Yet if they are brave enough they will find that once in a lifetime thing that everyone searches for.
I loved the new book from Cora Brent! I always love going back to the Gentry world and Strike was no disappointment. The Gentry boys now all have kids of their own and it's Camille Gentry's turn to find that love that her parents have shown her her whole life. Growing up with Cord and Saylor Gentry as parents Camille and her sisters got to see first hand what that lighting strike looked like, so when she meets Dalton she has an amazing example. Dalton had his time in the lime light with a career in baseball and now he runs a club for a friend. After the disaster that was his relationship with his ex, now that he looks back on it, he was happy with the way things were. That is until Cami Gentry struck and his life will never be the same. I loved Cami and Dalton! This book had me hooked from the first page until the end and I can't wait to see what is in store for the next generation of the Gentry clan.
I enjoyed the latest from Gabi Moore. Max and Katie both find themselves trying to start fresh when they meet. Max is fresh out of the SEALs, working in protection until he decides to start his own gym with an emphasis on self-defense. Katie is freshly single, after leaving her abusive husband, and trying to find her place in the world when she decides take a self-defense class. Imagine her surprise when she finds the teacher is the same man she spied on in her apartment complex. To say their initial meeting isn't good is an understatement. First he asks her out then she leaves a bad review on his new gym and the class. Two different people trying to find their piece of happiness find it together, but it's not without it's struggles thanks to Katie's past.
B.B. Hamel does it again with her latest release, Filthy Beast. I loved Jackson and Tara! When they were younger they were always together, until the day Jackson disappeared and left 16 year old Tara to wonder why. Now they are both are older and find themselves together again and on the set of a movie, in which Jackson is the star. Tara and Jackson's reunion isn't without it's share of drama though with the fake relationship they movie execs are putting on Jackson and Tara's anger at him. When they do come together though it is electric!
I enjoyed this latest read from Stephanie Brother. What happens when a relationship starts on a lie? That's what Chad finds out when he meets Ivy and leads her to believe the little boy with him is his son. Ivy is a single mom trying to make a life for her and her young daughter when she meets the hot Chad at a preschool tour. When they decide to play a married couple to help the chances for their respective kids neither thought it would lead to so much more than pretend, until the whole truth comes out. Chad was happy being single and childless until Ivy and her young daughter changed everything and he will do whatever it takes to win them back after the truth comes out.
I LOVED this book from Vivian Lux and Amelia Wilde! Two of my favorite authors together in one book, combining their two book worlds into one, what could be better? When Adam returns to Reckless Falls to settle his father's estate he finds himself back in Regina's life, even if she seems really mad that he is. Regina and Adam used to be so close, until that he walked away and never looked back. Regina has struggled to get to the point she is now and will continue until she makes it to the end, what she never counted on was Adam coming back. Adam and Regina are awesome, I absolutely loved their story. Amelia Wilde and Vivian Lux both write books that have you hooked from the beginning until the end and this one is no exception. I loved the glimpses of some of my other favorites from each of their respective books that make appearances in Reckless Falls Kiss.
I loved this book from Meredith Clarke and the Furever Series! When Blair decides to shake up her life and go to Bear Ridge Resort she didn't expect to find her mate in a shifter who has a connection the clan her best friend is now a part of. Declan is sent to Bear Ridge Resort to find his mate or not come back to his clan when his bear becomes too unpredictable. When he sees Blair he is struck with the inability to look away, but with women flocking around him it won't be easy to get Blair to give him a chance. They have undeniable chemistry that neither can deny. When they return to reality they will have to deal with a woman from Declan's past who is out to make trouble and their own emotional baggage if they want the forever they both deserve.
I enjoyed this book from Cassandra Bloom, who is a new to me author. Ruby Dunroy has a life she is happy with, or so she thinks, until she meets the CEO of the company she works for and he changes everything for her. Chad Archer is used to having women, single and not single, throwing themselves at him and traveling with packs of women surrounding him. What he never expected was Ruby and how she would change how he thought. When he offers to give her a ride home Ruby will get more than she ever imagined from the playboy CEO, Chad Archer. Their story is smoking hot!
