A woman broken by her past, a man haunted by his sister's death have a history that while good was great until it wasn't enough and she left him just as broken as she always felt. Now a year later and Gabe reaches out to Fiona for help when a string of kidnappings and murders bring back memories of his sister and Fiona. Not thinking twice Fiona leaves her new life behind, including a fiancé that embraces her "normal" life. Thrown together on a case that brings memories back to both of them brings old feelings to the surface. Gabe will always love Fiona for who she truly is, embracing her past and her strength. When the danger lurks even closer than either thought they are both pushed to come out of it still standing. I enjoyed the latest from Leah Wilde and Ada Stone.

Candice is confident in her career and figures she will make time for guys after she made partner at Goldman & Stern Management Consultants because the guys she has met leave her with one thought, douchebags! With an ex leaving her because his mommy didn't like her and yet she was still a virgin she would have lost that to anybody, but again douchebags, so she just keeps going on day by day. Until her next client, or rather the company's, Tanner Wright and his company of Wright Enterprise. Tanner is used to getting what he wants, being the playboy and having more money than he knows what to do with. When his company hires a management company to help with the latest acquisition he gets more than he bargained for in his attraction to Candice. The sparks fly between the two and while working on the acquisition they hook-up at the end of the day for a week in Arizona. When real life barges in things get complicated and it takes a scandal to bring them back together. A great read from Amy Brent.
I loved the latest from Ashely Rhodes! Jack is living his childhood dream, a spy with all the cool toys, what could be better? Veronica is Jack's Oracle, his help in his ear on his missions. They make a great team, but have never seen each other in person, no matter how much Jack wishes differently. After his latest mission against the Omnix organization he finds himself back at the agency's base when everything changes. In the same building for the first time finds them running for their lives when Omnix attacks their base and kills everyone else in the agency that was there. The two embark on a mission to find those behind Omnix and bring them down, falling in love along the way. This book has it all; hot scenes between Jack and Veronica, danger, hostage situations, taking down a terrorist organization and running for their lives.
A hot read from a new author for me! Alicia gets the chance of her career when her magazine, Mennn Magazine, sends her to do a story on two rival quarterbacks. They have a hatred and rivalry that is legendary, but at one time they were friends. Dylan Brakster and James Sledge are two of the hottest men she has ever seen and she has a feeling keeping anything professional between them is going to be hard. James Sledge is the happy go lucky guy while Dylan Brakster is the serious guy. James and Dylan know why they hate each other, but love and hate are often closer than anyone thinks, which these two alpha males learn very quickly, even if they aren't willing to admit it out loud. What starts as a hot night between the three after the first interview turns into calls, skype and texting between the three when Alicia is sent to Alaska to cover a different story. What none of them saw coming was a story, from Mennn Magazine, about the three of them and their hook-ups. With them not knowing who released the story they turn on each other, with the guys getting violent. A hospital stay has the three reconnecting in the best way possible. I have to say this again, this is a hot, hot read!
Three people thrown together in an unlikely way find their feelings run deeper than they could have imagined. Brent Larson has stepped in twice to help change someone's life, fist with Jason and then again with Katy. Jason had been a teen living on the streets, Katy a 17 year old with no where to go when her mom is taken away due to mental illness. A year later finds Jason and Katy 18 and all three still living in the same trailer. When feelings change between Brent and Katy he tries to ignore it, but a chance scene in the shower and ignoring is thrown out the window. Jason has his sights on Katy and wants to claim her at any cost, but sharing? He never even thought that's how it would happen. This is a hot read where they all have to get over issues if they want the relationship to work. Not the norm, but when has normal ever been their thing anyway? Katy takes the most time to get over her issues until she embraces that people may call her trashy, but with Brent and Jason by her side she can handle it. Loved the latest from Cassandra Dee.
The final and oldest Shadid brother finds his mate in the latest from Leslie North. Sheikh Kashif spends time on his own chasing adventure and his latest chase brings him to Alaska to try his hand at the Iditarod. While there he meets Kristy, the daughter of the man who runs the place and the trainer of the sled dogs. What they end up having is a hot and fast romance that comes to a screeching halt when he is called back home. What he left behind, besides Kristy's broken heart is a daughter he didn't know about. Kristy tries to tell him, but thanks to an over "helpful" guard is turned away at every attempt. Four years has gone by and with his father, the Crowned Sheikh, wanting to step down he finds himself back in Alaska and back in Kristy's life. Kristy has carried on as a single parent for years and to have Kashif back brings up her guard when it comes to their daughter. When the full scope of the truth is reveled they have to overcome the hurt to find their way back as a family. The Shadid brothers have all found women who challenge them in ways none other could and Kashif's Kristy is no exception. I loved the latest from Leslie North.
I loved this read from Jackson Kane and Roxy Sinclaire! Home for the holidays and her sister's wedding, Abby couldn't be any less excited. Family drama, a fiancé who is no longer and a sister's fiancé that she can't stand. Out at the bachelorette party she sees a man who is anything but her type in the mountain of man the bouncer. Vance is a one and done kinda guy, but after an explosive hook-up with Abby he wants more. When Abby asks him to be her fake fiancé, she'll pay him, he agrees grudgingly, and then the fireworks begin. Most of Abby's family is a little hyper, but pleasant, her mom on the other hand is down right rigid. The night that follows is anything but normal from moody teens, a runaway boat, a guy fight and ruined dinner that ends with an ambulance ride. Vance is alpha male to the max and hot as sin, Abby is the woman made to complete him.
Another great read from Tia Siren. A prince whose monarchy is on the way out and a last ditch effort to help the public's view of his family is set to do what his father wants. There is a tradition in his family when it comes to the men picking their brides, kidnap them, marry them and produce an heir. But his father has another stipulation to add, he wants his son to find an American because maybe the Americans will side with the monarchs of Kosnovia. Nick Rostov is sent to New York for an economic summit, but he also has the task of finding a bride. A snow storm leads him to a hole in the wall bar and the owner, Rebecca. Rebecca has been working the bar her father left since she was little and doesn't see that changing any time soon, until a stranger walks into her bar. Nick and Rebecca have a passionate night but the morning brings separation when the haze of the night before becomes serious. The two finally find their way together, but not to help the kingdom for love instead.
Lorin is beaten, abused and left for dead tied to a tree when Aden finds her on his way back to his cabin after hunting. Aden likes the solitude the cabin in the forest provides and the last thing he wants is someone disrupting it, but even he can't leave the woman the way he found her, so he hollows out his deer carcass to give her some warmth and takes her back to his cabin. What follows for these two is chaos, danger and a connection neither was looking for. For Lorin the last man she was with, Ryan, is how she ended up tied to the tree so Aden is nothing she was looking for. While they work together, begrudgingly for Aden, to get back to their normal lives they realize the lives they lived before isn't what they want. A good read from Gabi Moore.
Two people who should never fall for each other do in the best way! When Amory gives herself in exchange for the debt her family owes to Giovanni Bianchi the last thing she expected was Ryder. Ryder knows his dad isn't the best person, but he's his dad. When he turns 25 his father gives him a highrise to make his own fortune and stay out of the family business, along with a present, a Russian Princess. The thoughts that fly through his mind are dark, dominant and steamy, but when he meets Amory he is enthralled. What's starts as prisoner/master turns into something they never knew they were looking for. While Ryder is dominant with her and wants her obedience he cares about her and wants to protect her. Knowing that her stay with him most likely won't be permanent he wants it that she will not leave his side, willingly. Their story is hot, a little dark, yet sweet. I enjoyed this read from Sky Corgan and Roxy Sinclaire.
