I loved this book from Lauren Landish! I loved Mindy in Anaconda and am so glad she got her own book. When Mindy's mom calls and tells her that she's getting married the following week and tells Mindy to bring the fiance Harold she has told her family so much about Mindy finds herself in need of a fake fiance. Enter Oliver, thanks to a debt to Gavin, who will play her fiance and Mindy lays down the rules which Oliver vows to break. The week spent with her family has them both wondering if what started as fake will stay that way. Oliver is cocky, hilarious and sweet. Mindy is brash, hilarious and a family pleaser to the core. Add in Mindy's hilarious family, Gavin and Brianna making their appearances and an incident with her mom's dog digging in their bedrooms garbage followed by a long walk with said dog and I couldn't put this book down.

A mountain man with a secret meets a woman with her own secrets. Dom and Anna meet when he finds her passed out with a wound on her head in the woods by his home and ends up bringing her home. Anna is out taking pictures when she slips and find the man of her dreams in the form of Dom and his giant dog named Gelato. While both of them are hiding something the connection they feel can't be denied. When they meet again it's through a website that hooks sugar babies up with sugar daddies and make an arrangement that leave them both wanting more and then real life breaks in to their bubble and Dom's past comes crashing in to Canada.
This is a hot new read from Jade West! Carrie, Michael and Jack are a hot combination, but their beginning isn't easy. Carrie is on the cusp of becoming an adult in the eyes of the law and at her last appointment with Michael before she ages out of the system and is on her own, with a chip on her shoulder-with valid reasons-and a bad attitude towards those around her. Michael is the straight-laced one of this triad and takes his job to heart, wishing there was more to do for Carrie and feeling drawn to her in ways he knows are inappropriate and he beats those feelings down. On a night out with his friend, Jack, he talks about work and Carrie and has Jack worried about what his friend will do. Jack is the more polished of the friends and when he returns home from an overseas trip he finds the enigmatic Carrie in his house and his house a mess, thanks to her trying to help a crow and it being loose in his house. When Carrie pushes these two men to their limits they will claim her as theirs, even when they don't understand how it's so easy to share and feel no jealousy. I loved Carrie, she is a young woman who has been through so much and felt so unwanted for so long that she shelters herself from everyone, until Michael and Jack prove to her they know what she needs, discipline, and they will be there at her lowest and love her through everything. As for Jack and Michael they are the perfect combination of sweet, strong and dirty.
I loved the latest from Leslie North and her brothers of the Wildhorse Ranch! When Charlie Wild, the famous quarterback, meets Dylan Rose the flirting between the two is off the charts, until his playboy ways slap Dylan in the face and she returns to reality very quickly after meeting him. When Charlie is injured and winds up back in Lockhart Bend, on the Wildhorse Ranch and under the care of a Dr. Dylan Rose he is looking for reasons to leave and get back to football. That is until his doctor walks in and it's none other than the woman who walked away from him before the game when he got hurt. The two will push each other to the limits and yet in the end will find more than they ever imagined when they give in to what they feel. Charlie is cocky, used to getting what he wants and lives up to his playboy ways, until he finds something worth more than football. Dylan is strong, sure and just the level of feisty to keep Charlie on his toes, yet will be in his corner even when she doesn't always agree with him, unless he puts his health in jeopardy.
I loved the latest from Tia Siren! Luke Turner needs a wife to inherit his late father's company and money. When his friend, and publicist, and his friend's sister help him come up with a plan and find the perfect girl it falls to Luke to sell himself to the young, naive Paige Scott. Paige is a freshman at NYU and will be a challenge for Luke. While she may be young, fresh off the farm and from a small town, Paige knows what she wants and won't settle for less. Paige gets blinded at times by the flash that is Luke, but I love that in the end she valued herself more and forced Luke to take a long hard look on the inside and decide what matters the most.
This is another great read from Lane Hart! When Samantha Elliot meets Dr. Grant Matthews she is immediately in awe by the hottest guy she's seen, but thinks that's all it will be, an attraction on her part. On Grant's part he is counting down the days until Sam is no longer his patient and he can ask her out. The relationship for these two has to be kept in secret and comes with steep consequences for them both when the truth is revealed. Add in a friend of Sam's who has his own agenda where she is concerned and they will have a tough road ahead, but it will be worth it.
I can't get enough of the St. Skin crew and have to say this book was my favorite. To say the first meeting between Hazel and Maddox wasn't a good one is an understatement. When Hazel takes the job of photographing the life that is St. Skin she neverciunted on meeting a man like Maddox, but that's just what happens when she turns the corner to capture the back of the building. Maddox is a rough around the edges tattoo artist who doesn't appreciate his life being interrupted by said photographer, even as alluring as Hazel is. What follows for these two is rough, sweet and exactly what both of them need. Both have pasts that could send either to never wanting a relationship again and yet when you find that one they make the scary worth it.
Another great read from Mickey Miller and Holly Dodd! When Crystal is hired as an image consultant for the cocky Irish MMA fighter, Connor McGrath she knows she will have her work cut out for her. Connor is brash, cocky and so sure of himself and now he is set to make a household name for himself with an endorsement deal. That is where Crystal comes in, to smooth out some of the rough edges and keep scandal out. With the stress of an upcoming fight set to take place on Easter Island both find themselves there for 60 days and living in the same hut. I love the other side of Connor you see when he is on the island and the more time he spends with Crystal and for her the more time on the island and with Connor she starts to relax and get in touch with her calm, even when he can still rile her up. When his opponent decides to fight dirty these two will have to work to get what they want.
I am never disappointed when Vivian Lux comes out with a new book and this one didn't disappoint at all. In the Reckless Falls series the stories are independent, but the characters overlap and I love it. With Played finally the single mom, Charlie, gets her partner in life in the form of billionaire Jameson Teller. Jameson comes off as a little snobbish and unapproachable, until Charlie and her son Malcolm come crashing into his world in the form of a fender bender. I loved Charlie and Jameson's story, with him thinking she is his new lucky charm and she thinking he is just a good time-at least that's what she tries to tell herself. Thank you Vivian Lux for this awesome series and these amazing characters.
I absolutely loved the latest from Simone Sowood! When straight-laced Eloise sees an article in a magazine that says a piercing may be the answer to her no "O" life she finds herself making an appointment at Incredible Ink and meets the hot tatted, pierced Gabe when she goes in for her piercing. Gabe Irwin is the owner of Incredible Ink, along with a business partner, and when Eloise's name ends up on the appointment book he can't wait for her to stroll through his door. With their shared history, from elementary school, Gabe and Eloise will have to work to get a happy ending between his issues with the past and her issues with appearances. I love the dynamic between Gabe and Eloise and her sister is hilarious!
