Our featured author of the week is Celia Kyle! According to Celia's Amazon author page, she is an "ex-dance teacher, former accountant and erstwhile collectible doll salesperson, Celia Kyle now writes paranormal romances for readers who:
1) Like super hunky heroes (they generally get furry) 2) Dig beautiful women (who have a few more curves than the average lady) 3) Love laughing in (and out of) bed. It goes without saying that there's always a happily-ever-after for her characters, even if there are a few road bumps along the way. Today she lives in central Florida and writes full-time with the support of her loving husband and two finicky cats." Our featured book of the week is the latest in the Dragons of Preor series, Zadri, which Celia writes with co-author Erin Tate. This series is a companion to their Ujal series and it's a wonderful addition to their works together! I love shifters and I love aliens, so their books in these series hit the spot. Zadri was just recently released and has already hit the best seller list on Amazon. Here's the blurb from Amazon's order page: "What’s a single, pregnant woman supposed to do when her family wants that baby gone? Go to Preor Choosing Station Tau and hope a dragon shapeshifting alien is her mate, of course. Delaney Cole found her mate among the Preor only to watch him die—through his own eyes thanks to the Knowing. Now, what’s she supposed to do when she discovers that her second mate is the male who’d killed her first? It doesn’t matter that he’s gorgeous, that his peach scales invite her touch, and his thick muscles make her fingers tingle with the need to caress him. She shouldn’t want such a violent, deadly male, but… she does. Zadri was born a son of Syh, orphaned and unwanted, and he never imagined actually having a mate. Yet, Delaney is his. Yes, he was the one to rip out her first mate’s throat, but now that he has experienced the Knowing with her, he will not let her go. Her lush curves, inner strength, and unborn young belong to him—wholly and until he takes his final flight. When others attempt to rip her from his life, he will explain the gravity of their error. Slowly. Painfully. He only hopes he can reach her before they escape." Preor's, as a species, pretty much worship the ground that all women walk on. If you're a female, your wish is their command! Pretty awesome, no? As mates, they will die to make sure you are safe and secure. Women and children of their kind were decimated during a planet-wide war and they've traveled across the stars looking for hope, praying that they find the One and get blessed with the Knowing. I started off this series at book four. I have read all of them and I do recommend that, but you could dip your feet in anywhere in the series and not be totally lost. Celia and Erin write some pretty wicked awesome stuff! https://www.amazon.com/Zadri-Scifi-Weredragon-Romance-Dragons-ebook/dp/B01M0ZNWEF/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1476506812&sr=8-1&keywords=celia+kyle+dragons+of+preor
